Edinburgh Sounds has built a reputation as a world-class party band, with hundreds of bookings and more than 10 years experience. With globally renowned players, compelling and imaginative musical arrangements, we will turn your prized occasion into an extraordinary event.
The sound is so important to us we have encapsulated it in our name. We work with DM Audio who provide a PA system tailored for the needs of your venue and number of guests, with the addition of a sound engineer to ensure the very best sound quality.

Packages
Covers
We play a mix of genres to get your guests on the floor. Our standard set times are two 90 minute sets but this is flexible according to your event. Our smallest line-up is; female and male lead vocals, electric guitar, keyboard, bass and drums.
Ceilidh & Covers
Our most popular option. Add fiddle and acoustic guitar for a mix of ceilidh and covers. We can also offer Bon:Stovi Ceilidh Band to play an entirely ceilidh set full of all the classics and lots of fun modern set dances.
Ceremonies
We can provide music as your guests arrive to take their seats and for your ceremony, often a duo or trio. Popular choices are a classical violin and piano duo, traditional music on fiddle and guitar or covers/ jazz with a vocal and guitar duo.
Extras
If you'd like to go all out, you can add a second lead female vocalist, saxophone, a brass section... whatever you like! We can provide background music for your drinks reception. Drop us an email if you'd like to arrange a meeting to discuss your options.

We heard many comments that evening (and on the dancefloor!), and the days following, about what a fantastic live band they were - and a few people said it was the best wedding band they'd ever heard. The covers were so well-crafted that guests said they forgot the band wasn't the original performers of these songs! The ceilidh dancing went down a treat too.
